नए साल की शुरुआत में बारिश के आसार बन रहे हैं।आगामी 3 से 5 जनवरी के बीच उत्तर प्रदेश में कहीं हल्की तो कहीं भारी बारिश हो सकती है।
जम्मू कश्मीर,हिमाचल प्रदेश और उत्तराखंड में बारिश के साथ बर्फबारी होने का भी अनुमान जताया गया है।मौसम में होने वाले इस बदलाव की वजह से नए साल का पहला हफ्ता पारे में गिरावट के साथ ठिठुरन,गलन और सर्द हवा लेकर आएगा।
मौसम विभाग के अनुसार यह बदलाव एक नये विकसित हो रहे पश्चिमी विक्षोभ की वजह से होगा।अगले चैबीस घण्टों के दौरान प्रदेश के कुछ हिस्सों में शीतलहर का प्रकोप बना रहेगा, सुबह व रात में घना कोहरा छाया रह सकता है।
उत्तर प्रदेश की राजधानी लखनऊ और आसपास के इलाकों में भी बादल छाये रहे मगर पूर्वी यूपी में मौसम सूखा ही रहा।
बीते 24 घंटों के दौरान प्रदेश का सबसे ठंडा स्थान चुर्क रहा जहां रात का तापमान 4.1 डिग्री सेल्सियस रिकॉर्ड किया गया।
इस दौरान प्रयागराज,लखनऊ,बरेली, मुरादाबाद मंडलों में रात के तापमान में बढ़ोतरी दर्ज की गई
जबकि गोरखपुर,वाराणसी और कानपुर में रात का तापमान सामान्य से कम रहा।
